Taus Wolfsberg is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Transaction Advisory Group in Stockholm. He heads A&M’s Nordic Transaction Advisory Group. Mr. Wolfsberg brings over 20 years of experience leading large and complex buy-and sell-side financial due diligence projects including carve-outs.  

Mr. Wolfsberg has also advised on refinancing projects, IBRs and restructuring, and P2P. He has worked across multiple sectors, including industrial manufacturing, business services, healthcare, software and technology, consumer, and private equity services. Mr. Wolfsberg specializes in cross border projects for target companies with both European and worldwide operations.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wolfsberg served with KPMG for more than 20 years in Sweden, Denmark, the UK and Russia. He has counseled clients on transaction advisory issues across Europe, the U.S., the Middle East and Asia. Mr. Wolfsberg headed the Private Equity Group and was previously part of the Executive Management team, serving most recently as the Head of Deal Advisory at KPMG Sweden.  

Mr. Wolfsberg has been Global Lead Partner for several large and mid-cap private equity firms as well as global corporates within the industrial manufacturing and automotive segment. Prior to undertaking transaction advisory work, Mr. Wolfsberg was an auditor with KPMG.

Mr. Wolfsberg earned a master’s degree in financial and management accounting and auditing from Copenhagen Business School.
