Aaron Eichorn
Mr. Eichorn has extensive experience providing insight and leadership to executives and boards faced with strategic opportunities and/or financial challenges. His engagements include identifying and successfully executing initiatives designed to transform, improve and provide a durable platform for growth. He specializes in restructuring, turnarounds, performance improvement, liquidity management and strategic advisory services.
Mr. Eichorn has provided interim CFO services for multiple healthcare clients, focusing on designing efficient operating models and executable strategic plans. Recently, he served as the CFO for an AMC focusing on implementing analytical tools through Decision Support to enhance net revenue, improve AR recovery, and ensuring appropriateness of reserves for contractual allowances and bad debt.
Mr. Eichorn also served as the CFO for University Health System (UHS), a $600 million, not-for-profit entity formed via a public/private partnership with Louisiana State University (LSU) and the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals. As VP of Finance/CFO for a 650+ multi-specialty physician group at West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh, he created financial reporting tools to monitor productivity, provide benchmark comparisons, identify and address variances with detailed performance improvement plans ultimately supporting its successful affiliation with Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Eichorn worked as a Financial Analyst for the Emory Healthcare System and Grady Memorial Hospital, focusing on the Anesthesiology Department. He supported departmental budgeting and variance analysis, monthly P&L reporting, and operational integration of independent physician groups into the Emory network.
Mr. Eichorn earned a bachelor's degree (summa cum laude) in finance from Touro College and an MBA (summa cum laude, finance and healthcare administration concentrations) from Georgia State University. He is active on local community boards and has been a guest lecturer for the LSU Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies.
