Al Criscuolo
Mr. Criscuolo’s primary areas of concentration are financial transformation, financial reporting and human capital and organizational change integration. He has worked with clients in various industries, including consumer and financial services, retail and merchant services, transportation services, food and beverage distribution and technology and system applications. His notable engagements include serving as a senior lead for a national retail organization, evaluating payroll operations and system integration for management and external reporting. In this role, he evaluated the payroll operating model and recommended enhancements to improve data accuracy, process efficiency and overall performance of the function.
Recently, Mr. Criscuolo led the startup of a human resource function for a privately held company as they navigated their initial public offering and transitioned to the organizational design standards required of being publicly traded. The work included establishing a relationship and service level agreements with a payroll vendor that would satisfy multiple state level requirements and state and federal labor regulations.
Previously, Mr. Criscuolo was tasked by a Fortune 100 retail organization to evaluate its payroll process and integration with its enterprise resource planning system to address multiple issues, most notably data and accuracy failures contributing to employee dissatisfaction and high turnover. This project’s success led to additional work, including a full end-to-end assessment of the hire-to-retire lifecycle and a human resources informational system assessment, as well as work to redesign supply chain processes to eliminate redundancy and remove excess cost and time.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Criscuolo worked as a Director with Protiviti, Inc. in New York. He started his career serving in finance and accounting leadership roles where he was responsible for all related functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and human resources and information technology.
Mr. Criscuolo earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State University and an MBA (concentration in finance) from University of New Haven.
