Diego Carreto
Mr. Carreto has worked with clients in various industries, including retail and consumer, pharmaceuticals, automotive (auto parts, OEMs, dealers), energy (renewals, oil and gas), airline, telecom and banking. He has worked in Mexico, the U.S., Central America and the Southern Cone.
Mr. Carreto’s notable engagements include developing a finance strategy for a leading auto parts company, including recommendations to evolve the finance function; re-define the finance operating model including shared services, center of excellence and business partnerships; and up-skill the framework capability.
Previously, Mr. Carreto developed a cost reduction program for an ultra-low-cost airline, including initiatives to maximize revenues (re-define tariff brackets, improve ancillaries program, round prices); increase efficiency (ground handlers SLAs agreement, re-defining AP process, robotic process automation). He also developed a continuous improvement program for a multinational technology company, including initiatives to deploy a performance improvement office and performance improvement initiatives
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Carreto spent 14 years with PwC Management Consulting in Mexico, serving most recently as Director, responsible for the Finance Effectiveness practice, finance transformation and digital finance.
Mr. Carreto earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from La Salle University and a master’s degree in corporate finance from the University of Anahuac.
