Marcelo Compte
Mr. Compte brings more than fifteen years of experience in strategic and management consulting, developing corporate strategy, and working on commercial, productivity-increase, cost reduction and valuation projects. He helps clients develop their business plans, raise funds and improve performance through revenue, cost and SG&A optimization.
Companies Mr. Compte has worked with include AB-InBev, Aluar, Athena Saúde, BTG Pactual, Bunge, European Commission, Embraco, GP Investments, Grupo Cosan, Grupo Kora, Grupo Marista, Hospital Albert Einstein, JSL, Opty, Parmalat, Patria Investimentos, PepsiCo, Tigre, UnitedHealth Group Unilever, Via Varejo, Viveo and Whirlpool.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Compte worked with consulting firms, serving most recently as Manager Director. He focused on consumer goods and healthcare providers and developed projects in 30+ healthcare units in Brazil. Previously, he worked in the banking industry and was an Assistant Professor in microeconomic theory.
Mr. Compte studied economics at Universidad Católica Argentina and completed the Management Development Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
