Silvan Schriber is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Financial Services Industry in Zurich. He brings over 25 years of experience in strategy, wealth and investment management and wealthtech, and has served clients in EMEA and Southeast Asia.

Mr. Schriber specializes in business transformation and performance improvement in banking, wealth and investment management, as well as risk management. He brings a significant track record in salesforce effectiveness, business and operating model transformation, restructuring and change management. With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, he brings expertise in blending board of director and senior management roles, including a Chairman of Audit & Risk Committee role at Zuger Kantonalbank.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Schriber spent seven years as an Executive Board Member with additiv AG, a wealthtech provider. His experience encompasses strategy, product management, client management, transformation and delivery of wealthtech value propositions in EMEA and Asia. Before that, he spent four years as Managing Director and Region Head at Notenstein La Roche Privatbank AG and 10 years in Wealth Management and Market Strategy roles at UBS.

Previously, Mr. Schriber served at McKinsey & Company for three years, helping banks, asset management companies and market infrastructure providers in market and salesforce effectiveness, business and operating model review, efficiency improvement and post-merger management programs in various European countries.

Mr. Schriber earned a master’s degree in banking and finance and a PhD in economics from University St. Gallen (HSG). He has also completed executive education programs at MIT Sloan. A dual citizen of Switzerland and Italy, he is fluent in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
