Chris Artuso
With more than 14 years of international tax experience, Mr. Artuso’s expertise encompasses U.S. information reporting, audit management, quarterly tax provision preparation and review (i.e., ASC 740), due diligence and regulatory compliance. He specializes in optimizing tax strategies to support executive level business objectives, while adhering to evolving tax regulations.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Artuso spent more than nine years with Celanese Corporation in Irving, Texas, where he most recently served as Director International Tax and Senior Tax Counsel. At Celanese, he played a pivotal role in the acquisition and integration of $12.5+ billion of M&A targets, including the $11 billion materials and mobility business from DuPont, while spearheading other strategic tax initiatives aimed at optimizing Celanese's global tax position, preventing excess cash tax leakage and maintaining a target global effective tax rate.
Mr. Artuso earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Penn State University and a J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law. He is a member of the Texas Bar Association.
