Hassaan Noor
At A&M, Mr. Noor has supported PE and corporates on several completed transactions by performing due diligence on commercial, operational, regulatory, financial and technology topics. These include brokerage firms, such as the acquisition by Interactive Investor (J C Flowers) of TDDI and divestiture of Selftrade by Societe Generale, and the operational and technology DD for several bank acquisitions and asset light businesses including TMF (acquired by CVC Capital partners). Mr. Noor has performed a number of credit due diligence assignments for bank acquisitions and loan portfolio sales including supporting PIMCO on the acquisition of part of UniCredit loan portfolio (project Fino).
Mr. Noor was also involved in several consulting projects requiring integrated operational and regulatory expertise, including his most recent project leading a team to identify capital savings of c. 25 percent through the recalibration of existing capital models. Previously, Mr. Noor assisted the Bank of Ireland to prepare a detailed plan and financial implications of inserting a new group holding company into its legal structure. In both cases, deliverables were submitted to regulatory authorities for approval.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Noor spent five years in the Leveraged Finance division at Lloyds Bank, where his most recently served as Associate Director in Restructuring. In this role, he was involved in the valuation and divestiture of more than €1 billion in loans and loan portfolios.
Before Lloyds Bank, Mr. Noor worked at ABN AMRO Asset Management, where he most recently served as Global Treasurer and led or supported the delivery of strategic projects.
Mr. Noor earned a master’s degree in international finance (with distinction) and an MBA from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and CFA Charterholder. A Dutch and Pakistani national, he is fluent in English and Urdu/Hindi and has elementary proficiency in Dutch.
