Joseph Halverson
With more than 15 years of consulting experience, Mr. Halverson combines proven approaches with novel and tailored solutions to solve tough problems for his clients. He focuses on value creation and develops innovative, yet pragmatic solutions.
Mr. Halverson’s notable assignments include functional and business unit transformations of multiple global oil and gas companies; the evaluation and ultimate recommendation for keeping or divesting a global gasoline retailer for a large integrated oil and gas company; and a value chain improvement project for an integrated LNG business unit. He has worked across the world with a focus on energy and mining industries.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Halverson was a Partner with Boston Consulting Group. He was a member of the firm’s People & Organization practice and its Energy practice. Additionally, Mr. Halverson was a global lead for its LGBTQ ERG group.
Previously, Mr. Halverson worked at Trinity Consultants as an environmental consultant, handling air compliance related issues across multiple industries, including oil and gas, industrial goods and utilities. He also worked both at Baker Botts, L.L.P. in the patent law practice group, and at HEVT, a clean energy startup.
Mr. Halverson earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA and a J.D. from Northwestern University.
