Kate Lowry is a Senior Director with Alvarez and Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in New York, and serves as the Chief of Staff to Paul Aversano, Managing Director and Global Practice Leader of Global TAG.

In her role as Chief of Staff, Ms. Lowry leverages her extensive expertise in both executive visibility and executive office operations. In support of Mr. Aversano’s growth strategy for Global TAG, her charter is to create opportunities for deeper collaboration and optimum efficiency across the practice, with a focus on regional cohesion. 

Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Lowry served as a C-suite chief of staff at Verizon, a Fortune 500 brand, and spent over 10 years in traditional communications agencies, leading executive visibility and corporate communications strategies for top multinational brands and consultancies. 

Additionally, Ms. Lowry has provided issues preparedness, situational analysis and counsel to individual executives and brand-side communications teams, during both lower- and higher-risk scenarios, including stakeholder criticism and conflict, operational disruptions and the unprecedented early days of Brexit.

Ms. Lowry earned a bachelor’s degree from The College of the Holy Cross. Since 2018, she has served as a judge for the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation’s annual Profiles in Courage essay contest.
