Mr. Carrillo specializes in corporate transformations and operational improvement engagements across the manufacturing, technology, energy, and power sectors. He provides hands-on leadership, service and expertise in operations and engineering performance and process improvement, supply and demand planning, inventory and asset management, product lifecycle, cost takeout, merger integrations, carveouts, and with implementing supporting systems.

Mr. Carrillo’s notable recent engagements include leading the development and implementation of the supply chain process and organizational structure across the US facilities of a multi-million electronics contract manufacturer; developing and implementing inventory management, production planning, and product lifecycle management maturity roadmaps at a multi-million global nutraceutical company; and managing the carve-out and stand-up of supply chain and operation divisions of multiple nuclear and fossil plants of a bankrupt power generating company.

Mr. Carrillo also optimized the supply chain operating model and processes and maximized the manufacturing, network, and vendor capacity of a multi-billion telecommunications construction organization; led post-merger performance improvement across the quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes for the US and Canadian facilities at a multi-billion global oil & gas filed service provider; and implemented the Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) software solution for a multi-billion field service organization.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Carrillo worked in the semiconductor industry with Applied Materials, where he led the legacy, copy-exact and process improvement initiatives for the largest 300mm Epitaxy product line ($420 million in annual sales). He managed the manufacture of three new products and implemented a lean production line at the largest US manufacturing plant, increasing capacity and improving process efficiency.

Mr. Carrillo earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
