Wayne Jephson is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal's Transaction Advisory Group in London. He brings 18 years of experience in financial due diligence, with a focus on infrastructure and private equity transactions. Mr. Jephson has worked with corporate, private equity, infrastructure fund and pension fund clients on buyside, sell side, refinancing and IPO transactions.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Jephson spent 22 years with EY, the last 18 of which were within the Transaction Diligence team, where he most recently served as a Director in the Infrastructure Transactions Group. He handled over 100 infrastructure/energy transactions across the investment class from utilities (water, gas distribution, electricity distribution, last mile, metering), and renewables (wind, solar, hydro and biomass) to transport (ports, airports, toll roads, rail freight and rail franchises) and telecommunications (towers and masts, broadcast, fibre) in the U.K., Europe and Africa. He was also EYs sell side leader for infrastructure  and handled more than 30 vendor/refinancing due diligence assignments in the sector.

Mr. Jephson earned a bachelor’s degree in law and business studies from Birmingham University. He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and member of ICAEW’s Corporate Finance Faculty.
