Yousef Wahbeh is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal and co-leads the EMEA Real Estate, Travel, Hospitality and Leisure practice in the Middle East. He brings more than 25 years of advisory and transaction experience across real estate, hospitality, tourism, infrastructure, and mixed-use developments, with depth in the Middle East and North Africa. He advises clients on high-profile investments, portfolio transformations, and complex capital programs.
Yousef’s notable assignments include:
- Acting as Engagement Partner for the 320 sq km North Pole project for the Public Investment Fund in Riyadh, leading feasibility studies, development advisory, funding strategy, and economic impact analysis for one of the region’s largest giga-projects.
- Acting as Engagement Partner on Project Booster–PIF’s investment in Accor Invest, managing financial and tax due diligence, valuation review, and HMA negotiations for a portfolio of more than 1,000 hotel assets globally.
- Serving as Second Partner for AMAALA, Red Sea Global, Jeddah Central, and Wadi Al Disah, driving concept development, business planning, and strategic advisory for luxury tourism destinations.
- Leading as Engagement Partner on the Aldar–Sorouh and Emaar–Dubai Holding merger due diligence mandates, including valuation of large real estate and hospitality portfolios, commercial analysis, and transaction structuring.
- Leading as Engagement Partner for Meraas Retail and Brookfield JV, advising on strategic planning, asset repositioning, and business transformation.
- Leading valuation analysis, SPA review, and negotiations for Arabtec Holding’s affordable housing initiative in Egypt (1 million units), supporting deal structuring and government negotiations.
- Directing strategic acquisitions, feasibility studies, and funding strategies for PIF and its subsidiaries across multiple giga-projects, including AMAALA, Red Sea Global, Roshn, Jeddah Central, and NorthPole.
Prior to joining A&M, Yousef held several senior regional and global leadership roles, including Global Hospitality Leader, MENA Infrastructure Sector Leader, and Transaction Real Estate & Hospitality Leader with a Big 4 advisory firm. He has worked extensively on giga-projects and landmark transactions across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the wider GCC, while also managing global portfolios and cross-border investments.
